I’ll admit it: I’m a bit of a coffee addict – but I come by it honestly. 

Growing up in an entrepreneurial family I saw from an early age just how hard my parents worked to provide for our family, and how hard that was. They wanted a life that would allow them more freedom

…only to find they had less. 

You’re probably wondering about the coffee addiction and where the heck that’s going, right? 

Don’t worry, I’m getting there. :)

Well, that entrepreneurial family of mine happened to own a drive-thru coffee stand. (See, told you I was getting there) Now, this was back before drive-thru coffee was popping up on every street corner, before we had a Starbucks, and before anyone had ever heard the term “barista”. 

So there I was, at a very young age, serving up caffeinated coffee drinks to all the caffeine addicts that jumped on the specialty coffee wagon — but still wanted to stay in the comforts of their vehicle as they fueled their caffeine addiction.

(I’m not judging because I do the exact same thing now.  Literally, drive-thru coffee is life!)

With my family solely supported by our little coffee endeavor, I had a front-row seat to the struggles they faced trying to do it all on their own. (Getting people to drop $2.50 on a specialty coffee drink in the ’90’s was tough stuff!)

As an adult, I didn’t want that entrepreneurial struggle and uncertainty for my family, so I spent a number of years with a “real job” working in banking, finance, and city government.

Gaining a different perspective allowed me to see where my own family's business needed help, and lit a fire in me to partner alongside people that were passionate about their business and mission, but felt overwhelmed trying to do it all on their own.

I want to make sure the overwhelm and missteps don’t happen to you!

So, stop hunching over your laptop and hand all that writing stuff over to me. I’ll bring my knowledge and creativity to the table to help you succeed. We’ll even toss in a bit of humor and a punch of sass while we’re at it, if that’s your thing ;)
